Are there any trade-offs when going with a 2J bottom end? Does it make the 1J any less efficient with a twin turbo setup? How does the longer stroke change the behaviour of the motor and what are the other differences besides 500cc more displacement? Thanks..

I pay with my ATM or credit card so of course I don't leave the car unattended with it running. Also, if you leave it running you don't have to worry about cooldown and you can listen to your radio/CDs while you pump and clean your windows and stuff. :) I don't see it causing any problems but...

1) Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 15W50 2) Factory Toyota or Autolite 3923 3) OEM Toyota 100% Concentrate (Red Coolant) with distilled water and a bottle of Redline Water Wetter. Might wanna drain and re-fill your tranny fluid and differential while you're at it. I recommend Royal Purple...

I was looking at the "Shocking Story" thread and wondered how many people fill up at the pump with their Supra running. A friend of mine used to do it in his Supra and I thought he was nuts... now I do it all the time.. Mmm... am I in danger of blowing up? :)

This just arrived in the mail today direct from Japan! I was a little worried I might have to modify them since they came out of a RHD Supra but I am very happy to say that these fit perfectly and look amazing. The condition of the mats is seriously, like, MINT. :) I'll post pictures of them...

If it is keeping you from going to school and your financial situation is tight, then sell it. If you can afford to go to school and keep the car then, of course, don't sell it! Unless you're gonna use the money to buy another Supra. :) School > Supra (Well, most of the time).

Yeah, despite what oil companies would like you to believe they are gouging the hell out of the prices this year. It's about $2.50 a gallon for premium here and expected to hit $3.00 a gallon soon. Just ridiculous... Something.... needs to be done... :( oh well.... at least my other car...
