    strange temp. spikes

I remember having an erratic temp. guage. The needle jumped up and down. It was the connector which is located in the water jacket or therm. housing area. IIRC, it is the long thin type. Verify that all your connections in that area are solid. Also, may wanna change your rad. cap....Stick...

750+ whp dyno video and a public service announcement.

Like many of you, I've owned the MKIII for 12 yrs. and have been on the SOGI/supramania/supraforums for maybe half that time. I remember way back when 450whp was considered the ultimate for a 7MGTE. "the stock internals won't handle much more than that" was the belief. The aftermarket has...

    keeping polished aluminium shiney

I had my valve covers and intake plenum polished. As long as she was garaged, all was well. But after storing her outside, now my parts have oxidized. :( I used mothers, and the 200 mph polish, but I guess mother nature is too strong. I'll have to try zoop.

    car won't start

If it is your CPS, sometimes, just by fidgeting with the CPS wires, she'll start up. Then you know that's the problem. You can try that first. Just a suggestion. Good luck!

Opinions of the BOSS Stage 5 TO4E 58 turbo

Recently, I was thinking about bolt-on, or full upgrade. I know you stated you specifically want bolt-on, but the problem with us folk is that after we accomplish one thing, we want to step it up. The beauty of full upgrade is you're no longer constrained to the limitations of a bolt-on...

    10:1 AFR's, stumbling, help!

I noticed you have the stock fpr. Did you test fp via the TSRM? I know u cannot adjust with the stock fpr, but that will def. help solve how much fp you have? (Also make sure when ckg. fp, that you read the TSRM, bec. your readings will be diff. with vacuum on/off. Hope this helps.

    Transmission Cooler

I can't remember my brand, (B&M) I think, but it has a fan and is very cool. (No pun intended)! Small, and effective. I relocated the coolant reservoir, and placed the fan there. Just a suggestion... Oh and RedLine tranny fluid.

If you had 20 some odd grand.. mk4 or mk3? or mr2?

C5 Corvette. Why? U'll get one with low mileage. (MKIV's have 80K plus miles nowadays and are way overpriced - at the end of the day, in the eyes of automotive enthusiasts, "its just a Toyota - Jap crap" - there is no heritage, or significant automotive history that comes with any Supra. Who...

    Insurance Quote

Hmmm.. I was ckg. out hagery.com also, and they have a caption for "modern classics" where a foreign sports car meets their test. Nothing about modifications was mentioned. Anybody tried insuring their Supra with Hagery?

    How Much Did You Spend?

Boosted Supra: Nice discussion. Your car is awesome! I've often wondered what does the underneath of your car look like? I've seen it in person, (and also in the magazine ;)) and IMO its prolly the hottest MK3 on the planet. But being a MK3 owner, I think about the upkeep a 20yr. old car...

    HKS Upgrades (Classic Original Literature)

Thanks for the post! I still use the F-Con, GCC, VPC, EVC1, EVC3, SSQV, and the beaded HKS MHG, on 2 Supras. I like their old school stuff. As X-Man says - "HK$ = High Costin' s@hit", and it may not be as advanced as today's electronics, but I think Old School rocks!

    HKS Sport Turbo, reviews?

I just bought the HKS SS 60-1 (IIRC) from a friend here on SM, and all I can say is that it is one sweet turbo!! Spool comes on @ 3K, and it pulls awesome! To put things in perspective, my 87T auto with stock CT-26 has put down 302whp, and 320ish torque, and runs 13.2, and on the street she is...
