I've posted the links to the information in the beginning of this thread.
For the 7M I have the N/A manifold pictured. For turbos my plan was to design per build. The intake volumes should be matched to turbos and cams and exhaust manifolds and other mods.
If there are questions you have...
It looks like I got my 5 manifolds sold on cs.com. I took full payments from three members there, one paid half and the last is still up in the air but I can cover on spec, theoretically.. I am hoping to get a reply from INTEK, where the first test mule dyno was done, for a before Christmas...
old guys...sheesh your micrometer eyes should still work
Besides, when I'm crying for joy I can't see well, either
On-car test fits and pictures are coming soon.
I'd really like to see how a 3VZ ECU would control a stock set-up.
I'm the other. But Jens' dad and I have more in common. Appropriately, the inspiration for ITBs for me was not to remake the wheel but find our options.
I've run Webers for years in many configurations and was going to buy TWMs and the Toyota ITBs. The hunk of aluminum with which Jens began...
The above post shows the way Toyota engineers would design the characteristics of our engines. When we change parts, we change these characteristics, sometimes without regard to the elegance of the original design.
hp=tq x rpm / 5252
tq =hp x 5252 / rpm
Then, if you tell what torque you want in what range I'll tell you how to get it.
BMEP is a mean. Meaning the pressure is always changing but the average is this. It is not for individual moments.
There is a little known spec that is a combination of engine attributes tha limits the effectivenes of an engine design.
The 7Ms based on their geometries experience this limit around 8400. Do not exceed this, no matter what your upgrades. There are some factors to consider, though. If you'd...
It was like there was nothing going on and no prospects here, too.
Boast-master Shawn jumps into a fracas with no regard. I'll be along to back him up. For the last four years it would be an impossible list to compile the amount of hotrodding we've done for others.
I challenged him to be...
If we did it later I might be able to send out a new ECU I'm going to test. I was thinking I could do a stock baseline and you could back-up my stock pull with a modified pull. Then I wouldn't be doing all the N/A and turbo testing.
I am going to have to absorb the ritualized criticism but...
ECU, ITBs and manifold. You'd have to get it back to me in three weeks so that I could continue testing. I'd want to see a dyno and some tuning. But maybe we could do it later in the year, too.
I just took a look at your build and I'll put up a couple of studies for your expected performance...
Hey AJ, if I sent you the stuff how long would it take you to get it back to me? There may be window around the first of the year that you could test after I tested.
