    Braking in oil

supports hvyman's suggestion.... just remove the spark plugs as well, as there will be no compression and close to NO load on the bearings.

EFI main relay and the Fuel Pump Computer in the event of an Crash - JDM 1JZ

HAHA! It works Perfectly!!!!!! The fuelpump starts as the engine turns, and the pump stops 3 sec. after engine has stopped! Just as stock, but now with a Much bigger fuelpump installed. The SSR (Solid State Relay) i ordered the first time was incorrect, as it was intended for AC power and not...

    Another 1jz hesitation issue...

the filter is not very thick, so you could probably cut it into many small pieces with an applicable tool. Just remember its fuel in there, so the metal-grinder is kinda risky.... so hand tools only.

The infamous 1jz breakup: tried alot, getting no where

The JDM JZX/JZZ harness har no extra plug on the ECU side, but the US Supra has one separate connector as far as i know, And the wiring is some sort of different due to this. But if the car has been working before, and since you now say you got no error-codes, exept the ones you trigger...

EFI main relay and the Fuel Pump Computer in the event of an Crash - JDM 1JZ

This is what i'm doing at the moment.... As the stock FP ECU only goes as low as 7v, we just need a relay that can keep closed even at low voltage. Solution is This Semiconductor-relay! :) It handles 4V up to 32V, uses just 20mA to keep closed, AND can handle up to 25A of current. Spec sheet...

EFI main relay and the Fuel Pump Computer in the event of an Crash - JDM 1JZ

HAH!!! Thats the schematic solution!! Allthough, I have found another way of solving the problem that is much easier... will post a drawing very soon.

    Another 1jz hesitation issue...

have you thought about your fuel pump, and its condition/age? Best of course is to monitor the fuelpressure during load.... then you will be able to actually determine a defective pump. cause you are running out of fuel... thats for shure.

The infamous 1jz breakup: tried alot, getting no where

All the JZX90 JDM 1JZ-GTE (non-VVTi) ECU's (Mark2, Chaser & Cressida) will fit on a JDM soarer (non VVT-i) harness. Plugs and system layout is identical. The PowerFC for the JZX90 and Soarer is sold as the same unit as well :) JZZ30: JZX90:

    Clutch question

Of course, it does not mean you actually inserted it the wrong way. But if you take a good look at the way the springs are oriented vs. the rotation direction of the Engine and Transmission, Then you will get a good answer for a correct installation. The springs are supposed to be compressed...

    Clutch question

thats typical for inserting the disc the incorrect way, But a good thing you found it all out! Im using ACT clutch disc with the hardest pressureplate they got, and has been working excellent for two years of racing abuse.

EFI main relay and the Fuel Pump Computer in the event of an Crash - JDM 1JZ

This was a good thread, finally gathering some information :) So, if information is correct, it turns out that the Fuel Pump Computer is controlled by the PWM signal from the ECU. When the PWM signal goes to Zero pulses, the FPC stops the pump. So I did some research about PWM control of...

EFI main relay and the Fuel Pump Computer in the event of an Crash - JDM 1JZ

Hi there According to theese wiring-diagrams, the EFI relay is the main powersource for the JDM Soarer 1JZ-GTE fuel pump circiut, as its the only supplier for +12v to the fuel pump computer...

1JZGTE with AEM V2 in MK2 Supra no injector pulse

You probably have done it, but re-check the injector output settings.... Sounds like something is missing there, as the stock AEM Honda settings gives plenty of headroom for incorrect settings on an 1JZ. a bone stock 1jz also fires all injectors at the same time...and a stock 2JZ fires...

    Clutch question

are you shure you correctly installed the C-clip on the pressureplate side of the throwout-bearing? Are you shure the clutch disk is installed the correct way? Good luck!

1jz rich at idle and lean while revving

the wideband o2's easily gets clogged with rich mixtures, such as in your case. Take the sensor out, and flush it in hot water, and blow it clean and dry with compressed air and Heating gun. Run a re-calibration, and its probably good to go again. Just dont use chemicals and hardware on the...

1jz rich at idle and lean while revving

The Brown wire is supposed to have Ground and is supposed to be the right pin, looking into the mapsensor (aka Pin 1) One of the others should have +5v constant to ground The last one remaining is the signal wire... it should move between 0,5 to 4,5 or something, depending on the pressure in...
