a friend of mine used a jdm harness on his car because it was all he had avalable. it was long enough, however he had to stretch it over the valve covers. It didn't look that good but it wasnt horrible, and worked great.
wow a lot of mis-information here. the only ill effect that shimming the wg will have is over time, the actuator spring will become weak. a shimmed wg would not crack a housing before an mbc would....that is just fucking stupid.
you'll notice with almost any mbc an increased amount of boost...
my only complaint with the trd shift knob is that it doesnt sit flush with the cockring on the shiftboot like the stock one did. theres about a 1/4 inch gap but this is eeeeeeeeeeeeasily fixed, i just havnt done it yet.
i need the length of the stock pre-89 rear spring from end to end. obviously it cant be on the car to get an accurate mesurment. thanks in advance!:icon_bigg

if your hoses are old then check the coolant cap on the back of the block, the 90 degree hose like everyone else said, possibly even the heater hose. however it could easily be a freeze plug. did the car piss or is it just leaking? and yes they can just "pop out", especially if its not a toyota...
