The turbo guys started with modified 2JZ intakes years ago. Modifying a compatible lower is easy. http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?26916-Ported-intake-manifold&p=341269&viewfull=1#post341269
Man I'm out of breath running around the house screaming!!!!!!!! I knew it was possible:biglaugh: God its been sooo long if I remember right you have the Flatlander kit and 12:5, cams. I can't think.... Did you dyno with the nitrous too? Your pressure plate may be too "heavy". A lot of the DSM...
All I can say is I thought I was doing something with my 285/25 20s!!

Are you sure your bore is maxed out? You could get your block sonic tested to see how much your working with. That will take the guessing game out of how much you can safely bore it. Piston choice boils down to application/budget vs popularity. I think I'm the only one with Diamond Racing pistons.
Since it runs on starting fluid, it seems to be a fuel issue. Check your plugs now they may be fouled, easy up on the starting fluid you can 'wash out the rings'. Put at least five gallons of gas in it. Did you put a noid light on the injector harness to see if your getting a signal to pulse...
What your grandpa is talking about is an engine 'run stand' or 'mock up stand'. Hard core guys build them for their engines to get most of the set up figured out before putting it in the car. You really only see V8 guys do it, my engine is on one right now. Once you build one for a certain...
WOW.... What's going on man! Fix that thing already..Lol like I should be talking! Hey what hp did you ever end up with? Crank walk? What clutch are you running? I've seen heavy pressure plates cause crank walk.
In order to feed this thing and make my hp/tq goal the induction system needs to be upgraded. My engine builder and cam designer say the same thing. I trust theses guys. We will see what the flow ceiling is for the 7M head. I'm waiting to see which intake valve is the absolute max 37 or 40mm...
Heart attack!! Man take it easy please take it easy. We gotta hook up to close not to. I'm really not sure what I will end up doing. The largest I can bore the Itbs is 48mm. Based on other set ups built up 7Ms require 55mm.. I wish just one of the guys would post here.
Yea its been a long time. Your car is sweet man, get that thing in the dyno with the twins! I can't wait to see the results. Honestly I'm seriously considering what you did +4 more.
Hospital?? You okay? Yea I really like the twins, wish I thought of that before I bought the itbs some years back. I already made a lower intake and everything for them:3d_frown: I need six 55mm throttle bodies or one gigantic one to feed this thing. The cams are going to be sick, hell the valve...
Unfortunately you will be the only one to answer that. Just take it easy on it till it gets warm like you plan, hope for the best. Beat up on it and you will be tearing it down again.
