once you take of the rotor you should be able to knock out the studs one by one and put one back in and if you have an impact gun you can put a few washers tighten the bolt.

if you can make it look like the one from the 850 series bmw from the 90's it will look good plus if you can have the pop up go half its height like the bmw. just my 2 cents.
I had that same problem before what oil filter are you using? I swapped to napa gold filter and put some pennzoil 10-30 platinum that did the trick for me at least. just my 2 cents
i think a 1uzfe motor will fit in that chassis i've been contemplating on getting a celica gts also before putting the v8 motor from the lexus you will be doing some fab work anyway to put any of the supra motor. the 1uz comes with I think 250hp and 260 torque. You can use your w58 tranny also...
was the block and the head properly machined to a specific RA?(smoothness) since you said you have a metal headgasket. you might have air in your cooling system. you can try burping it see if that helps.
