Hey guys, so me and my friend picked up a 87 turbo a couple of days ago for a dd. And one thing that is bothering me is that the people before us did the fuel pump mod on a factory fuel pump. I saw it and asked them if it had a walbro in it and they said it was the factory one:yikes: The...
If its your dd. i would try and keep all vacuum lines to factory spec with in the 7m.. Im sure the egr stuff is not there so pull that stuff...But it would be better to try and make it work
It goes to nothing on bottom of the intake. Its blocked off on the other spots.. I have a feeling this is not good what i did as far as the vacuum routing.....
FLAME SUIT ON
Thanks for that post!!! The EGR stuff has been taking off the motor. Can this part still be used and function the right way??? I am aware in the past week that it is bad to remove the EGR stuff with a non jdm ecu.
Well hell yea!!! I think you guys just figured out my problem!!!! That is not even on my car. That would explain a brown plug sitting next to my fuel rail??? It looks just like a injector plug. :3d_frown:
The cold start time switch is ohm right per tsrm. So i am thinking that the hot start problem could be caused by the cold start injector sticking open. The car cranks great on a cold morning. Can these injector's be flow tested and cleaned like a normal injector?
Ok, so i just searched what the pulsation dampner does. It smooths the pulsation of the closing injectors. So there for it should not matter for the problem that i am having. Tomorrow i will look into the cold start timer switch and check the injector. Then i will check my gab on my ngk's
Thank you sir for the info! Always 91 fuel. Im running copper ngk's but i will double check the gap. So is it bad that there is no screw on the pulsation dampner or is there even one supposed to be there??
Your right about the wideband. That should be first but, i hear guys saying that 10psi should be safe. I will grab one in the next week for sure
thanks man!
