well, then check out what else you touched during the BOV install. a BOV by itself will NOT make the car run really rich.....unless it was improperly installed.
you obviously haven't looked hard enough. one would think you would check the mfg's site...<gasp>! 2 sec on google takes to apexi's site....one click on SUPPORT takes you here:

sure, except that it will cost you more for a techtom + VPC than it will cost you to go standalone....and w/o a techtom tuner right there you're relying on guesswork to tune your car.
provided it was tuned correctly (i.e. satisfy Vf for low/mid throttle) then you shouldn't ever have to touch it again.
if your car is stock and it's pig rich, you have other issues. fix them FIRST before modding.
bingo. unsprung disc = blown R154. too much shock for the old dog.
try using redline heavy shockproof oil in it during warmer times....it's worked for me.
valvoline sythetic is a pretty good option. it's relatively cheap and has nearly the performance of motul....given that if you're serious about it you'll be bleeding the brakes before every event, it's a cost-effective compromise.
tell me about it!
eh, not really. it was track rental so there was little to no track prep. even w/a healthy burnout the BFG DRs still spun off the line. best 60' i could muster was 2.0. :P
nope. as IJ said, it blew up after 20 miles. :(
yeah, they're not. GET AN OIL FEED FILTER!
hit up a drag strip rental last night. after some tuning, i managed to squeeze a 13.3 @ 105 out of the flebay turbo.....not bad for something so puny. i'd post the slip, but who cares? that's SLOW!
honestly, given the age/design of the R154, i don't think it would ever shift perfectly w/a short shifter. try it and let us know!
again, this ONLY applies to those that use their cars in some sort of competition. for a DD or cruising car it shouldn't be a huge issue...
