I see u live in sconny land...make sure you use some PB blaster on all the nuts and bolts youre going to remove. If you have a few days before the repair, hit those spots once a day for a few days til you get to it. those wisconsin winters are rough on on everything..i know...i used to live...

Ok...I just finished tearing the head off my re-built engine with barley 100 miles on it. My block and timing cover werent machined together and it cause a oil leak in the drivers side front corner(i think due to the head sitting on the cover and not sealing the head near that oil port/galley)...
I got one based on Starsceams recomendation (thanks for that btw)a while back. Im glad he did...I love it....Sounds good as well and it worked great upto the point my MHG went BHG...but thats a whole other story(bad machining).

I just removed mine a few min. ago. Pulled the rad...15 min. Pulled fan and water pump 15 min. Took my impact( got it at sams club, goodyear brand blue) 19mm shallow socket and it spun it right off.
Now im stuck at the crank pulley. i cant get it off by hand. going to autozone for a pulley...

Then you have to buy lines, mod the DP. air intake is 4" mod there(coupler,pipe,filter). turbo outlet the same size as your current couper? if not mod there. buy a wastegate...Cost could go up quick.

Im running an auto harness on my 7mgte swapped MK2...you dont need to do anything with the auto tranny plug portion of the harness....MK3's have a an extra ecu/computer for theirs.....we dont...some people say you need the NSS neutral start switch...I have one siting on the bench if you think...

If you blow a coolant line to the turbo or the line to the back of the head and it sprays coolant on that hot exhaust housing it will spew some serious white smoke/steam..also have you/he drained the oil and look at it? that will tell you alot right there, also a leakdown/pressure test?

from ignition S/W "IG2" is a black with orange stripe goes to a wire that connects the Igntion coil and igniter which is the same as the number one wire is part A (I made up the part a,b,c to sepereate them)...
