really you dont necessarly have to use a 1jz/2jz ignitor. I bought one on ebay. I just looked up toyota ignitors and matched the part numbers i found from a reference page. There is one on there now. Its like $125. Its a bit pricey compared what i paid 4 mine but hey its cheaper than a dealer one.

go to www.1jz.com. they have all of the wiring diagrams that show on the connectors which wires are for At and which ones are for MT. You can use the r154 tranny but it has to have the 1jz bellhousing to bolt up.

I was looking over my 1jz today. I'm not much of a buff on this motor and i was wondering if someone could tell me what the 2 hoses coming off the water pump go to. That and mine doesnt have a fan on it. could i possibly put one on it or do i have to to electric fans?

Ok my coolant light is being stupid. My radiator is full and there are no leaks but it stays on and it flashes from time to time. It used to come on when the car was cold but once it come up to operating temp. it shut off. It wont go away. plz sumone help.
