the guys down at the shop are the best. since day one of me the have taken good care of me and my car they tuned my car with a stock motor and a mhg with my turbo set up to 478whp at 24 psi. jimy the owner even gave me his cell phone number just in case there was something wrong on the way home...
i have an aem ems to tune everything with. pretty much my quistion is thes year my car is going back to the shop to get tuned i want to make some extra hp what is better to run meth or race gas or both and money like stated above is no object because if i tune it with race gas then i will run...
last year my car made 478rwhp on pump alone. and this year i am going back to get it tuned again and i want to push the car to its limits with running it on race gas and tuning it with my aem. that's why i was asking race gas or meth? money is no object
i don't have a cat on my car i have a strait pipe on it:evil2: in CT if your car is over 20yrs old you can put antique plates on it and not have to go throw inspection and you also save on taxes as well. but will running race gas all the time in a stock motor hurt it
money is not a problem its only a weekend car but i just didn't know if it was ok to run race gas all the time in a stock motor. and are there advantages of running race gas and meth or pick one of the two
so i am getting my car ready for the summer and its going back to get tuned at "the shop" in CT. so i have been playing with the idea of a) using racing fuel b) using meth injection c) both. which way is the best route? is it safer using racing fuel or meth or both
my mods are:
7mgte
hks mhg...
i have been using royal purple because when i got my supra running last year i did some research and everyone from sport compact car magazine to horsepower TV(i think that was the show) tested a bunch of oils and according to the test it was the best out of all the rest as well as showing hp...
so what do you guys think about there oil's http://www.greddy.com/products/display/?Category=oil&SubCategory=24 i have never heard anything bad about them but then again i have never heard anything bad. thanks for all the info.
i did some research http://www.importtuner.com/reviews/impp_0808_coolant_additives/index.html but according to this page it says run water and the water wetter. will that cause problems in the colder weathers?
