Alright guys, got another weird oil pressure issue.
My last low oil pressure issue was resolved by replacing the broken oil pump drive shaft. 1000km later, the oil pressure has been good, but has since started to drop recently within the last few days. Only thing I did was install 720cc...
Fully built 7m, had coolant in the oil and the motor only lasted 1500k.
Stop driving it as mentioned, and do a leak down test.
What kind of gasket is on it?
Same thing happened to me.
Chewed up my timing belt. The second time it happened it broke my oilpump gear. I guess it can happen from being outworn (i.e. too old) or perhaps applying tension on the tensioner when tightening it down to make the belt tighter (my mistake).
Ok, I think I may have narrowed down the problem. I changed the cam position sensor recently because after testing the older cps via TSRM

G1 and G- terminals don't even register anything on the older cps, but all...
cool, so i guess the pt tracking for idle and cruise is pretty much useless for those who still have there stock o2 sensor connected which I'm sure is 99% of us.
Now a question on tuning. When I come off the gas slightly my a/f's go rich around 11 af's anyone have experience with leaning...
CRE, so in other words the pt tracking idle and cruise is only good if the stock o2 sensor is disconnected all the time and therefore in open loop, correct?
So the pt idle and cruis tracking is ineffective with the stock o2 plugged back in.
quick question, for the pt tracking idle and cruise the stock o2 sensor must be disconnected to go into open loop. However, when you set up the pt tracking for idle and cruise via the maft pro and confirm that it works, when you connect back the stock o2 sensor doesn't the ecu just override all...
Went to the dyno the other day for the first time. I just did 3 base pulls to see what the car would do.
The setup is a follows.
gt76 x trim dbb turbo (6.5-6.8psi)
4inch downpipe, 3inch catback, 3inch catalytic with a 4inch center section. The 3inch reducer on one end of the cat sits...
So when you did the pt tracking, you drove around with the o2 sensor unplugged?
And just tuned the whole a/f curve at various rpms/ speed etc?
If so, when you plugged back in the o2 sensor did it not change all of this?
And secondly, with the pt tracking at idle, when you plug back in the o2...
Hi guys, I am running version 4.80 software and I just had a question that someone will hopefully answer.
When using the pt tracking, it says to disconnect the o2 sensor.
Now when that is done, the car is in open loop.
I set the tps voltage at .45 (mine is .42 at idle)
idle rpm at 800
a/f...

Actually, I heard from a few members that the MKIV intercooler is great for over 400+rwhp.
Most talon guys, and I believe 3000gt guys use these intercoolers with no complaints, and nothing but good reviews about them.
