Hey, let me know if you want help with that... I'm an HP warranty tech, and I've worked on a few of those. I can't get you a deal on parts (our spares prices are outrageous), but I can replace a screen on one of those things in about 10 minutes.
Hehe... yeah, I went a little crazy with pics of the red MKIV. :)
I didn't get so many MKIII pics because the MKIII guys weren't really showing off the way the MKIV guys were. (at least, not while I was standing around with a camera).
Later in the day the Michigan guys and Jeff were having...
Damn... it's down to 36k/sec now.
Al's flyby is... EDIT: DONE! The address is http://www.necro-inc.net/MKIII/eriol/MVI_0134.AVI
Since the movie files take so long to download, I'll provide a handy-dandy index:
MVI_0132.AVI - walking around the red widebody
MVI_0134.AVI - riding in Al...
My fly-by video is still a ways off from being uploaded... I'm only getting 52k/sec up, for some reason. :)
Thanks for providing the hosting space, though! I was wondering how I was going to make the movies available.
It was good to meet everybody, though! We had a pretty good turnout.
Thanks to all the people who drove from remote parts to make it -- hope everybody made it home ok.
D'oh! I'm pissed -- I set my camera to take pics in medium resolution mode, and it took 2 pics that way. All the rest of the pics I took of the meet were at 640x480 resolution.
I uploaded some stuff in the /eriol directory on that necro-inc site. I particularly recommend the movie...
Argh! I think Supramania has decided it's just not going to bother sending me email notifications anymore.
OK --
I was born and raised in Indianapolis, so I know my way around the city pretty well. I'm a little fuzzy on the South Side, but I can find my way around there.
Al's directions...
You know, I've never actually seen a whole shadow-grey interior, or a picture of one. The only ones I've seen have been modified, like Ron Ramirez's car.
Hehe... ok, will do.
You should know, though, that the leather that Toyota upholstered those seats with actually is very busted... which is why it's now decomposing in a landfill somewhere. The previous owner had them reuphostered in vinyl.
Thankysir!
I did look on your site -- that's where I found the pic of the board by which I found the numbers on the chips. That schematic for the ROM add-in board was cool.
Hrm... I can't really find any info on Google on either of the D151801 chips, other than that they seem to be made by Denso. I'll ask another CE buddy of mine if he can tell me where I can find more info, next time I talk to him.
