Oh well, I guess I'll have to tear it all out and find out whats going on. The pulley doesn't wobble or anything and is runnong on the serp belt.
I have my 7M compressor still. Any parts like the clutch that are transferrable? :)
That's what I did. The wiring looks fine, but the mag clutch doesn't engage even when you do it direct. The resistance from Pin 9 to ground is 0 ohms. When I connect it all up and engage the A/C the fuse blows.
Thx
I'm trying to get my A/C set up after my 1JZ swap and everything seems to be fine except for the compressor magnetic clutch. I connected everything up as in this guide: http://supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=219596&page=1. The A/C relay line does switch to 12v as its supposed to.
I...
I have the Bilstein / stock setup. I went out to measure the fender well gap as I have them one the lowest setting. 235 / 40 - 18 front and 275 / 35 - 18 rear.
Front: 1.25"
Rear: 2"
I have not had any rubbing / bump stop issues. These struts are very firm but do absorb the bumps quite...
COM goes to the feed and NC to the top of the wastegate. The side of the wastegate goes to the feed line direct.
I just took a look at the install manual again and they say to do it the other way around. COM to top of wastegate and NC to feed.
Could that be all it is? I'll make the...
I just got my 1JZ swap done and I'm running a t61 single and an external 46mm wastegate. With my boost controller (Greddy Type S) off, I peak at a consistent 10 psi. With it on, the lowest it will go is 15 psi (all knobs set to min).
I have the solenoid set up as per the instructions (COM...
I have an 88T that looks like it has 87T wiring (yellow plugs). I've followed the instructions on the following sites:

After all of this is done, I have...
I'm going to setup the A/C in my 1JZ swap using the 7M lines / 1JZ compressor technique.
One thing I could not find when looking this up was if I will have to recover the R-12 in the system prior to doing the swap or will it leak out when I swap pumps.
Thanks
Ya, I found that plug and it wasn't hooked to anything...
Any thoughts on where to get a sensor? I'm sure there are used ones around, but is there an OEM or equiv part that outputs the same?
Thanks for the feedback. This is running the hydrofan and I want to keep it for my swap. The question now is, how can I get that temp based control back into the mix? I'm guessing running the fan on full all the time may not be the best idea...
It looks like the previous owner of the 1990 JZA70 I bought (for my 1JZ swap) replaced the radiator with a non-stock one. I can't find a temp sensor in it anywhere. What does this look like in the radiator and / or what does the plug look like?
I have no idea how long this was run this way...
