I can never understand why some people need to have a loud exhaust on a street car. Racecar I can agree with, but a street car it makes no sense. You're goin to draw a shitload of unwanted attention.

There has to be more pics. The MK4s has about 120 pages and counting of ugly ass supras, 98% MK4s though.

Those numbers seems very low for the psi like the others have stated. Check for boost leaks (maybe a leaking BOV). Just for reference, I made 471 with a 60mm turbo at 20psi on my 4 cylinder 1JZ (severely leaking valves in 5 and 6 resulting in damn near no compression).

600 on a 1jz with 93 octane seems a little far fetched.

To be honest guys, if you're shooting for that kind of power I would just save up and get a clutch that will guarantee to hold my target power and then some reliably and not just for a couple of pulls either.

What psi do you consider full boost?

For that power level, I would just invest in a twin or triple disk clutch. I cant imagine a single disk holding that kind of power and torque safely for too long.

I have the Greddy SP and love it to death. It's quiet around town and have a nice roar when opened up. My only concern is that I think I might be outgrowing it as i'm approaching over 500whp.

Go with the 6262. It seems like a hell of a better deal than the old ass 62-1.

IMO that's the best option, to get rid of the 550's and resistor. That's what I did. I got rid of the 500's and all associated piggy back system on the car and just went with the AEM stand alone. I've had enough of the 1JZ BS issues.

After reading the entire thread, it seems we have the exact same issue. Hell, we even have the exact same mods. Have you checked to see if the injector resistor crapped out? Thats one of the thing I forgot to check before I lost all my patients and ripped the harness from the car and rewired...
