I guess it all depends on what rims you have on the car, I got 19's and they go plenty low enough for me. I Think I need to get the fender well rolled to get that nice look. The front will rub if you hit a big bump though.
Well got my Stance in the mail and put them on the car today. What a pain in the ass. For the most part the installation was just like any other shock. These things are huge. The hardest part was getting the ride height set right. Had the damn tire on and off several times to get it set...
Well just ordered my Stance coilovers and they will be here on the 2nd. Once I install them I will let you know what I think, but from what I have heard they are awesome
I guess if all you were doing was autocross meets then why couldn't you just attach the harness to the rear strut bar? That would be the only time I would be wearing the harness. During the daily drives I would just use the stock seat belts, besides I think it is illegal here in SC to be...
Mine did but I just drilled out the holes to the next bigger size and it should be fine. I took mine off but trying to find the right hose is my problem. I don't want garbage for hoses.
I don't see what the problem is I always hit the control arm right by the ball joint and after enough hits it just pops right off. I have been doing this for years on all types of vehicles. My dad taught me this and he was a mechanic for 30 yrs for chevy, ford you name it he did it.
Yea dude and if you do a search you can find tons of info on how to do upgrades. It isn't hard just takes money
Or you can click this link to see TONS of articles http://www.supramania.com/forums/articles.php
I have a spare in my center console but unfortunately I am deployed to the other side of the world. Check the junk yards you should be able to find one that way. Or I saw one on Ebay for 25 bucks
Well I think I am going to mess with the one I got and if I can't get it to quit surging at low power then I am probably going to give this one a try. Does anyone have the exact measurements. Ok I know it is bigger than X valve but I want exact measurement so as to see if it will fit in the...
I just bought a complete rebuild kit (new shims, washers, clutches, spring) from champion for 200 bucks. Going to rebuild it and get ready for another season of autocross. Going to try and kick some subaru ass
Only place I found the parking brake pads was at horsepowerfreaks.com
and they want $100 for a complete set. Ouch the front and rears don't cost that much unless you are putting performance pads on
I think the only thing that will wear out would be the o-ring that is inside it. As long as there is lube inside it (He said lube LOL) it should not wear out. That is just my way of thinking, and I am sure they can sell you a new o-ring kit if needed.
Welcome and there is a post around here somewhere about the proper way and order on upgrades. Some are cheap others cost a few dollars but if you do them right you shouldn't have a problem getting to 300hp easy.
It almosts seems like I want to try it but unwilling to fork out the 190 bones. Everybody keeps saying that it is HUGE. Just what kind of measurements are you getting on it? It doesn't look that big
