I figure it's rust and who knows what else in what passed for brake fluid. Ran clean, new DOT 3 through the entire system, and plan on doing it again in a month or so. Think that'll take care of it, or is there something else I need to plan on doing here?

Can anyone think of a particular reason that the odometer and trip odometer would work but the speedometer itself wouldn't? The needle will every now and then spin completely around the dial (360 degrees) and then stop and point at the bottom of the gauge where it started.
