Hey Andrew, I have the center hatch piece and a good piece of wood to put back in there. Let me know if you want to add those to the list of things you were gonna get from me and we'll work it out. Just send me a Pm or something.... sorry about all this for you, really. Almost makes me nervous...
Inquire at a local auto paint supplier. They should be able to take your factory paint code and mix you up a small amount, then fill a touch-up pen with it.
Lookin' good, Seth!:) I have a question, though: How did you get your cams lined up and timed properly without the upper rear timing cover? Keep up the good work!
Not at all and not saying he should build to the hilt if that's not how he plans to use it...was just offering a different viewpoint to consider and, hopefully, be of some assistance. True enough, you answered the question asked and I wasn't saying you were wrong with my reply, so please don't...
I just got the chance to check back, and every one else has said most of it. I would get the lex AFM for now if you have already got the 550's. That will make power with the stock ECU/Fuel maps, No AFC necessary. If you decide to eliminate the MAF sensor and switch to Map operation, go with some...
Looks like a good car for a build/project, Garett. Is there any reason why you want to put such a large turbo on when you have such a relatively small HP goal? A 57 trim CT will get you to your goal and spool pretty quickly too. What are you planning to do for fuel control? Have you thought of...
Just get you some LSD additive and add it to the diff, and you should be ok as far as fluid, but if you don't have worn bushings or something else loose back there, your diff is prolly shot:(
You are correct sir, it was list price. But it only dropped $200 with my employee discount, so still pretty pricey. I don't need a new dash for that kind of dough, especially when the one I have isn't cracked, just peeling a little around the side vents and glove box. I'll get it fixed and spend...
Sorry to burst your bubble there IJ, but I checked on a new Toyota-fresh dash about a month ago and was looking at nearly $1K US. This was, of course, for a shadow dash pad. Other colors may be less money, especially the tan/brown ones, but I don't think they would be too much different.
If it's stock, is it rebuilt or did you take the loose, sealed pumpkin in there and have them install it and remove the old one? If it was just a whole diff swap, housing and all, it may need to have the diff fluid serviced/changed for a start and see if you still have the same noise. Does it...
Hey man, you should match 'em to one half or the other of you car. With that two-tone, it's a no brainer. BTW, you and my friend are twins! His is the same two-tone blue.
What kind of LSD did you have installed? Stock or aftermarket? If aftermarket, 1.0, 1.5, or 2 way? Did you follow the recommended break-in procedure for that particular diff, or did you get out there and boost it hard right away? We need a little more info for an accurate answer, please. Based...
The main reason I haven't gotten one off here was the cost consideration, but afaik, sethron is the only one making them on here now. Got a price quote from him a few months back on a medium runner length mani with all the provisions for everything stock equipped but the EGR and the price was...
Might have to get with you on that... would like to have it together when I put my motor back in the car. Not un-willing to put in some work on it, just a little lacking for the connections to pull it off;) Looking for something like this...
