Had already read that. Good info but don't see that it answers the question. It only goes into the issues caused by a TPS issue creating the code 51 and not what the code 51 may have triggered the ECU to do.

If the throttle is not being held open by the throttle stop screw or the Dashpot (which slows the throttle closing against the throttle stop screw) then it may be crud that is accumulating on the throttle plate itself and keeping it from fully closing .
