    cost for machining

I payed just under $500 for the machine shop to build the bottom end. That included .020" pistons. The head was another $350, but i cheaped out on the head and used a much cheaper, smaller shop... Prices didnt include parts.

T4 Turbo oil drain into Pan ok?

-8AN is plenty for the turbo drain. Anything more a 2x the size of the feed is a waste. It will have no bennifit. So assuming your using a -4AN feed like most other T4 turbo setups, -8AN is plenty.

    Sloppy subs.

Just did a quick scim over the last few posts. .5 cu/ft is a bit small for 12"s. Even the p2's. I would put them in a box with roughly .9 cu/ft net volume per sub. (.9 cu/ft after deducting the volume of the speaker its self, and any internal baffling.) Then stuff it with polyfill. And be sure...

    Another Rims thread (with criteria!)

TSW Makes alot of wheels styled exactly like the HRE's you like, and are much more affordable. I have a set of the TSW Snetterton's. Most staggered sets cost just over a grand, and are great quality wheels. http://www.tsw.com/alloy_wheels_indy_500.php

    Sloppy subs.

No no NO. You need to read my friend! DIY Mobile and Talkaudio.co.uk will have all the info for you to learn. Building a box is not simple math. It doesnt work that way. A single 8" port is going to reproduce sound completely different than 4 4" ports. Its complicated in how it works. And...

    1jz intake ? what missing

Its a check valve that went to my stock boost sensor on my car. Not sure if thats what really is supposed to go there, but thats what was on mine. If nothing else you can plug it or add a vac line nipple. IIRC its a 3/8" NPT fitting.

    New with an 88 turbo

Good deal! Looks like a great car. Since your building the engine all new, might as well build it to last. Make sure you use a very good machine shop so they tolerance correctly, and deck the block and head to be PERFECTLY flat.

    Sloppy subs.

They both have their pros and cons. And its all going to come down to the end user, and what the music is. Rap and R&B listeners all love ported designs, where as most other listeners enjoy sealed. Sealed boxes do typically have a tighter and more flat response curve, where as ported boxes have...

    Thoughts on single

I agree with everyone else. Do it. You wont be let down. With the 57 trim (quick spool) from DM, it will spool damn fast. Probably around 3000-3200rpm, and pull pretty well all the way to redline. Its going to be a very very streetable turbo setup, and be perfect for track/drift use. No its not...

    1JZ Oil Relocation Kit?

I used -10AN because that the size of the oil outlet on the oil filter. I didnt want any restriction what so ever. I wanted to minimize the pressure drop of the extra lines and cooler so i went as large as i could.
