I got the AEM Wideband and turbo elbow (have to add second bung) being installed. Pig rich is only dangerous if the gas gets into the oil via blowby I think (which pretty well takes out all the lubrication on your bearings...). Also decided I am going to add the 550's and LIPP AFM. Now I have to...
most of you are probably familiar with the Aeromotive AFPR from Driftmotion. Looks like a slick kit and from what I can tell should be an easy plug-and-play option.

So, the question is, with the above kit, (considering a bit of bling...
My 255/35R18's cost 300 each (Yokohama) for my rears. I dont consider that expensive.. but again.. I live in Canada where we pay a lot more for tires than you people down south : )
odd they are discontinued.. I think your dealership has no clue. I just bought a set last year for my 88 (with 89+ Khouki tails) for about 35 a side. No mention about any difficulty at all in getting them here. Still.. the foam is about 1/8" thick and about 3/4" wide and follows the inside of...
^^was my first thought as well. At least with the neck directly behind the drivers seat (I think that's were you put it)
Something scary about that... But I have never gone your route with a car so maybe it's not as bad as I think?
Got the 57 trim from drift motion as well as a single bung 3" elbow. Adding a second for the AEM Wideband. Decided that I am dropping the 550 cc injectors in and adding a LIPP AFM as well now. (Using my stock electronics)
Question... Do I need an AFPR at this point? I have a mkiv denso fuel...
In other words... no "I'll have the money in December!! Can you wait??" and... "Great! This is on my build list.. cant wait... watch me disappear"...
lol.. I would never run a group buy : D
I can commit providing I have numbers... all has to be budgetted for...
great thread. Your lucky.. if I did that in the front drive at my house... the city would tow the car away within 24 hours. (its also illegal to park your car in the rear alley in Calgary.. lol)
Stupid thing is... I want it to be expensive...
... that keeps it unique.. because for the most part, people who just dabble in MK3's and kill them dont like throwing expensive items on thier cars..
Referring to my Work Seeker Rims? They are unique.. lol. I picked them up for fairly cheap because I intend to go widebody in the future and dont want to fork out 4-5k for wheels twice... These are really nice.. they are straight as an arrow.. lightweight and give it a bit more flash for now : )...
Gonna be good timing for me if this flies... : ) I have to do a front bumper respray and a touch up on the passenger quarter. Will hopefully be able to work in a widebody kit at the same time if Im very lucky : )
7mgte had the R154 ge had the w58
There is a serial number plate by the brake master that has a code on other that will tell all
I will be back later to hook you up with some important web links for tech info.
As for the shocks, they are good but it depends on your final goal with the car and...
A couple things to look for... Spray water upwards on the tiny hatch side windows to check the seals there. Mk3 hatches aren't problematic but they can rust if someone has played around with the trim.. Generally though, the rubber seal stands up well so if it appears unripped, it's usually...
