I drove it with a stock motor while I saved up the parts, then did it all at once so down time was minimal. I usually take a week of vacation every year in the spring and work on the Supra and piss around in the garage. There's nothing wrong with the way youre doing it as long as you don't cost...

I saved up parts on the shelves in my basement until I had everything I needed, that helped not having to buy parts in any particular order, so when I had money to spend, I could buy whatever I could get the best deal on.

I would bet they meant for the oil pump drive shaft, it looks similar to a balance shaft setup on a Honduh.
