The guy was on fifth gear a few times. He has a metal rod going to the ground so the car can do 360's like that though.

My friend put his up on the ceiling by the sun shade with a L bracket. Clean look, you wouldn't even know it is there unless you are looking for it.

Maybe weld support for the tabs.

I guess they are out kinda far.. but I have tracked my car many times with the arms with no problems. The only problem I ran in to was the bolt actually rotating so my alignment gets messed up.. but that is my fault for not tightening the bolt enough. Overall I am happy.
