R154 Swap, then no power steering?

Been busy with life but finally got a chance to finish my R154 swap on a 98 NA-T. After startup, I have no power steering at all. Does the automatic's wire harness have anything to do with PS or could I have knocked a connector loose? Thanks! -TMF

    Hello from Washington state!

Welcome! Gotta love that oldschool red interior, haha. Clean as hell, though! If the sleepies are anything like the 240sx, you just cut a wire behind the switch that makes the lights pop up (Not the headlights themselves). If that's what they did, you just pop them up and double-tap the switch...

    MKIV Roll Call?

How many MKIV owners are on this site? It seems to be pretty 7M/MK3 driven. Any active MKIV guys on here?

    (NA-T) MAF Adapter questions

Update... I contacted a local fabrication shop. They're going to cut a flange and weld it on top of a three inch pipe. I'll post results when they're done with it.

    (NA-T) MAF Adapter questions

Still need help with this! I found out the aristo vvti gte uses the same style maf but is mounted in a plastic pipe that could be clamped with couplers. Anyone know where I can get a maf pipe for an aristo?

    That orange mkiv! TooMuckinFuch

Hells yes! Apparently if you drop the passenger motor mount and the oil pickup, the oil pan will slide out the side! Just got it off. Going to tap the return and start putting everything back together! Taking pics, will upload later!

    That orange mkiv! TooMuckinFuch

Update! I read a thread on supra forums saying if you take the nuts off the bottom of the motor mounts, you can slip the oil pan out from the bottom... Not happening with my 98. I guess the vvti motor is different because I have a 96 motor from an sc sitting in my garage that has a shorter...

    Coming to a conclusion...

I got my 98 for 12k and it's been painted but no mods other than a Walmart radio. Lol. Well, no mods when I bought it. Best way to find a supra is to stop looking for one and they'll find you. :) there's a stock 95 for 13k obo in Dallas tight now. Black NA 5 spd I believe.

You know, I'm not either! Seems like every stop light with the top off, I hear 'what's the retail on one of those?!' I can't really bash the color since I got it that way for $12k! Plans are to paint it white eventually but power comes first!

    (NA-T) MAF Adapter questions

I was looking for a maf adapter to my 98 Supra. I keep finding pictures of the metal pipe that the maf bolts into and the adapter that bolts to the pipe. I don't have a metal pipe, mine is plastic and made into airbox. What am I missing? Do I needthe maf pipe for a gte or did the 98 vvti motors...
