(NA-T) MAF Adapter questions

I was looking for a maf adapter to my 98 Supra. I keep finding pictures of the metal pipe that the maf bolts into and the adapter that bolts to the pipe. I don't have a metal pipe, mine is plastic and made into airbox. What am I missing? Do I needthe maf pipe for a gte or did the 98 vvti motors use a different pipe than earlier models? Also, I have a universal maf pipe but it wwon't work with my bullet shaped maf. Will the IS300 MAF work in a supra? It will fit in my adapter. I'm using an AEM F/IC to une if it matters.

Still need help with this! I found out the aristo vvti gte uses the same style maf but is mounted in a plastic pipe that could be clamped with couplers. Anyone know where I can get a maf pipe for an aristo?

Update... I contacted a local fabrication shop. They're going to cut a flange and weld it on top of a three inch pipe. I'll post results when they're done with it.
