    New World Record

I don't quite understand why someone would be so angry about a video. It's a cool car... period. I am not a fan of Mitsubishi's but I can respect what this guy has done and the car. If you don't like it keep it to yourself or start a discussion about it. No need to act like a child because he...

    Wanted Supra mk3 7mgte (NOOB!!)

My supra has a straight downpipe that ends underneath the passenger seat. It sucks 90% of the time. However as it became my daily driver now I hate my exhaust. So what I would recommend is don't do that. and fuel economy ya... no. An expensive headache that I love and cherish and rewards me with...

    cryo-forged stock rods?

I have not looked into the price of cryo+ shot peening. But I think for what it would cost to get them shot peened and then re-sized and cryo'd you could probably pick up a set of Eagle H-beam 4340 rods for not much more or about the same. While there is nothing wrong with the stock rods if you...

    Permacool oil filter adapter

It's pretty damn tight but I will see if I can get a little extra out of it. Not too worried about headers as I dont plan on changing the stock turbo setup for a little bit. Thanks for the help IJ and JDUb.

    Permacool oil filter adapter

I am using permacool #111 adapter, fittings are tight and dry. You are correct when I mean the seal from the block to the adapter is leaking. I did use all permatex liquid PTFE sealent on all NPT sides except the for the filter stud to adapter as I misplaced it. I will be getting some this...

    Permacool oil filter adapter

I did make sure the o-ring was seated and lubricated. I also cleaned the block of any grit with a rag and brake clean before I installed. It leaked so I took it off checked O-ring it was still seated, re installed the adapter + my lines and it still leaked. Not quite sure whats wrong I am...

    Permacool oil filter adapter

So I did the full flow thermostat oil cooler upgrade. But I cant get my permacool adapter to seal correctly. I installed the filter stud into the block first then the adapter on to that. When I start the car oil it will leak a fair amount. Did I do something wrong or this adapter a piece of a junk?

    Head Gasket thickness selection

Use the gasket you have now if you plan on doing a full rebuild, since you will be opening the engine back up anyway. If you don't plan to rebuild it just get a MLS and be done with it.

    RC 550's question...

It may not be overflowing fuel, but it is probably spraying more then you need. Really depends on the octane of the fuel you have available+ cfm of air your engine is moving for injector sizing. Either way it is not ideal to change from stock with out the ability to tune for it properly.

    fcd help

I've tried to look up specs and other things for these cars on alldata at school. My general experience with alldata is it's good for what it is. But wouldn't rely on it so much for this car.

    7mgte with ct26 60-1

Stellar numbers congrats, was wondering about the breakup you were talking about till I saw the AFR's. They don't lie. Would like to see what one of these could do on pump gas and a proper tune. Either way congrats and can say I will be investing in this upgrade sometime possibly this year.
