See I have also been wondering this as I'm building a 1j currently and will be shooting for over 1000 on a 2.5 bottom end. I can not find one record of a 1j without a 2j block making over 1000. I understand it's more difficult but to think no one has done it? Seems odd

Well the whole deal is Ive been planning on buying an s366, but ive just been offered this tc76 for a stupid good price. The Reason i'm Rather iffy about this is that Everything i read says that due to the 76mm compressor, the 68mm exhaust wheel and an inefficient housing, they choke up around...

Anybody have any experience with this turbo? Turbonetics tc76 with a .96 a/r. I'm planning on using this on my 1jz but I keep hearing that it starts choking after like 16ish psi. Any insight would be great. Thanks.

if you are building a 7m and want better routed intercooler pipes, just get a ffim and a tradition side inlet/outlet intercooler.

Yeah when i get off work tonight im going to close the gap to around .026-.028. And yeah but ill check again when i regap the plugs. Yeah it seems like it runs fine until i try to go half throttle or more then it just kinda bogs and really falls on its face when i start getting into the + side...

Ended up Going through the harness again. I found the IGF wire that was ran to the wrong pin on the ecu. Also I had a Power issue for some reason at the efi main relay but all is well now and it runs. Has the Typical Hesitation/miss around 4k rpms but i believe this is due to the sta/nsw wires...
