which post are you refering to. i know in my 88 i had my guages working but no lights. my 89 that i had my 1jz in i had no guage activity. you may want to check body plug M1. that is the plug with all of your guage signals. also check in your fuse box in the drivers side kick panel. there is a fuse down there for your guages. i know when my alternator blew it took out some fuses with it. i would try the fuse before you go ohming out wires. if those 2 things dont help im not really sure. hope this helps.
