I'm doing a 7mge swap into my 86 toyota pick-up. It was a w56 tranny which is the same bolt pattern as the w58 supra tranny. I bought a bellhousing and clutch fork from an 82 supra. I bolted it to my tranny and bolted a 7m flywheel and clutch assembly to the motor. I bought a throwout bearing...

Bump. I figured out the clips...they just seemed too small but they work. How about the position of the throwout bearing? There's a metal spring/clip that goes half way around the bearing. Does this metal piece sit in the u part of the clutch fork, or does it go from onr tip of fork to the other...

I just bought a release bearing, bearing retainer and the 2 clips that hold it all on to the clutch fork. I did not take it apart...I just bought a bellhousing and clutch fork so if you have a pic showing how the clips are installed, please post it up or email me. j_perret_83@hotmail.com thanks...

The part # for 86.5-88 clutch and 89-92 clutch was different and the pressure plate bolt pattern was different between the two as well so I just wanted to make sure that it is going to work. So there's no way the parts place could mix up a turbo clutch with an n/a clutch?

I'm swapping a 7mge into my 4x4 and went to get a new clutch so I could drop the motor in. When I got the clutch home, whe pins and threaded holes didn't line up. I ordered another clutch and it lined up...it was an 89 though. Are the 86.5-88 and 89-92 both push style? Or is the 89-92 a pull? I...

The pins don't line up either.....close, but not close enough. I assume that buddy sold me the wrong flywheel so I have to find one now. Anybody have a 7mge flywheel in vancouver bc?????

I bought a flywheel off of a guy a few months ago and when I bought my clutch today, the holes for the pressure plate don't line up with the flywheel. The part # is the same from 87-92 n/a. Not sure what to do. There are a few marking on the flywheel I have.... a japanese symblo and 67S. Any...
