My issue is that dry sump is not really available. Places like Dailey Engineering want 15+k to do it, but don't want to do it and quote a 6 month wait time at minimum before they even get to it.
I may eventually eat the cost, but definitely want to avoid the cost/wait.
Fast forward some years, new project and again I end up at this crossroad.
This time weight savings is not a real reason, but rather space savings. Looking to run a front sump engine and there is not a viable solution that isnt astronomically expensive.
Any new leads to possibly get me...
Thanks to Morganson, and Nathaninwa for the parts. The harness was superior and looked better than some OE harnesses. The plate looks great, but have not received the coils yet to test fit. Will post results soon!
let me know when, I would buy one at the end of next month! Mine is rusted, but painted over.
Postal code for shipping? I'll find a price if you need one state-side. I have mine.
I have searched a little bit on this with nothing coming up. Who runs stock CSI with E85? Anything recommended to be done before an e85 conversion to the CSI?
Thanks!
Thanks everyone! I knew it had been done, but questioned due to the fact that it just seemed crazy to have 14 and 16 gauge on this type of setup in the first place.
I have done my research on the wiring from the round to oval plug styles, but the white wire is 14 gauge and the other two are 16 gauge on the oval plug, but all three of the wires on the oval plug are at least 18 gauge wires. I feel i might run into some issues in wiring these 18 gauge to the...
For something like a larger engine with a heftier oil pan, make more room to work on the engine, and ect. I have large hands, so an Ls, lets say, with longtubes and a larger oul pan may create space issues for me.
I did a few searches on this, so please kick me if I just didn't see the thread.
I am wanting to see if there are any tubular options for other swap possibilities, and space?
Thanks.
The internet has tons of information, some easy, some hard to find. Here are a few tidbits.
