talked to dr tweak about this problem and he says the only way is to manually turn on the fuel pump or get a relay from him. so if you have a jza70 harness and want to use a jzz30 ecu, this is the only way

hello i just finished rebuilding my 1jz i got it to start up but it idles at 2k and breaks up at 3k it has a cel code but i cant check it because the cel doesnt come on when i turn the key to the on position but once its running itll throw a code, need some help on what it could possibly be
first of all im just wondering if the throttle body gasket and the circular turbo manifold gaskets are interchangeable between the 1jz and 2jz i threw them out thinking they would come with the gasket kit
and second, does anyone have these gaskets? :)

ok heres my dilemma. my 1jz threw a rod and from the force i assume the piston shot up and bent my 2 of my exhaust valves. so i posted a wtb for 2 valves and no luck. i went to the junkyard today and got 2 exahaust valves from a 2jzge. the noticeable difference was there wasnt any type of logo...
ive had this same issue since september of 2008. knocking noise at cold start, 20 psi oil pressure at warmed up idle. i ignored it until yesterday when i started to hear it while on a 100 drive round trip, which finally threw a rod when i nearly got home. :(
