Also last week I drove the Supra down to Davis for its first long-distance drive. A giant brown bird (probably a hawk) kamikaze'd me on the freeway and killed itself. I had the top down and its amazing it didnt end up in my back seat... it hit the corner of the passenger side b-pillar so hard...

So I am running the car at the sac raceway dragstrip. Runnin low 15's should manage high 14's if I can launch it better with a decent reation time. I need practice >_<

Yes it is a shame to see a 7M block killed like that. I think it must have seized due to oil starvation.

I've noticed that the turbo outlet hose going to the intercooler is typically cracked... and so is the coupler on the intake manifold. Of course... there are lots of places to get a vacuum leak. I like to replace all the vacuum lines if I get the engine out of the car. Harder to do if its still...
