They are in fact welded. I’m not sure if they make press AN fittings, but I wouldn’t want to chance it for something like this. I did use a rubber vacuum port on the intake pipe to avoid welding that as well. It’s basically a rubber fitting that gets inserted tightly into a grommet. Seems to...

Another quick update: - IAC installed - IS300 coils mocked (NM bracket on the way) - Mishimoto oil catch can installed. Valve covers lines plumbed. Waiting on some tubing to fab up the turbo inlet pipe and finish the catch can lines, along with other vacuum lines

I’ve been trying to knock out a few things here and there. For as much as I want to get it done, there’s no sense in rushing. Little by little brother

    Mo's 1991 Supra 500 rwhp Build-up (Long Overdue!)***New Pics on Pg.6&7***

Progress! Thermostat housing and sensors reinstalled. The original wiring harness was rather jacked up when I purchased the car so I’m taking the time to replace and repair various plugs and wires. I purchased a donor gray plug harness to assist in the process. Additional tasks completed...

    Mo's 1991 Supra 500 rwhp Build-up (Long Overdue!)***New Pics on Pg.6&7***

Blast from the past! The time has come to get this girl done! 75% of the interior has been reinstalled. I still need to button up wiring for the power folding mirrors, then focus on engine and standalone. I will say this - after 20+ years of ownership, my memory is not nearly as good as it...

Running dual MK4 Denso fuel pumps? Advice appreciated

It looks like the 400lph Walbro is pretty capable and should be plenty for what I'm planning. Thanks again for the replies, guys.

Running dual MK4 Denso fuel pumps? Advice appreciated

I've always erred on the side of caution. Not to mention if I decide to go with a bigger turbo down the road, I won't have to worry about the fuel system. I certainly agree it's not needed for 500rwhp, but again, I’m leaning towards this route with the future in mind.

Thanks for the replies guys. Much appreciated. I think I'm leaning towards a surge tank set up.

Running dual MK4 Denso fuel pumps? Advice appreciated

Most of the information on these turbos is gone since no one uses them, but I was able to find the following link: http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=87350 Essentially the Frank 5 = Garret E60 trim compressor wheel, unclipped TD06H turbine, and aTD05H 7cm2 housing. It has...

Running dual MK4 Denso fuel pumps? Advice appreciated

How's it going guys? I've been dormant for a while, but I've gotten the itch to finish my car once and for all. Aside from buttoning up some odds and ends, I had a few questions concerning my fuel system. Right now I am running a single MK4 denso fuel pump. I had a terrible experience with a...

    Mo's 1991 Supra 500 rwhp Build-up (Long Overdue!)***New Pics on Pg.6&7***

It's quite possible. At this point, I really have no use for it - especially since it sits right above the alternator. Either way, it will probably get plugged. Not sure? Most of these parts are probably two years old. If you mean recently, then it was probably someone else. Definitely have...
