Regarding cruisin' roads, it depends on where you go in Michigan. Pretty flat and straight around here. Last year we cruised up to Traverse Bay and Lelau Point and there were some fine roads up there! Lots of curves/elevation changes. Almost reminded me of being back in MO cruisin' around the Ozarks in the 7.
Drive straight south down US-31, when you get to a neighborhood called Northgate I'm the fifth house on the left LOL
Some nice country cruise roads in my area (though I'm sure there's no shortage in Michigan), especially in the fall. If you're into architecture at all, my town is a pretty neat place to visit... Not much else going on though.
That's four days before Chi2k8, sounds perfect!
If you aren't going to that, I'll just have to come up on a weekend this fall. -
