My 7mgte has been burning oil, its the worst when the motor is hot and or the turbo is boosting. It doesn't smoke that much on cold start up, just a little.
I removed the charge pipes and checked for oil, nothing, I removed oxygen sensor behind turbo and checked downpipe for oil residue and...

I do not have my EGR blocked off, however I am not running any of the vacuum lines to the EGR diaphragm that sits on top the fuel rail near the firewall, since I don't have a charcoal canister at all. Just the vacuum ports are plugged off.
Would this make it burn a lot of oil...

I didn't replace any of that, all I did was replace the engine oil pump with a new AISIN unit.
Im going to check the oil pump driveshaft pulley, could it make a noise like this?
I had this motor running in an MK3, no signs of any bad noises.

I had the transmission removed once before and looked at the rear main seal and a mechanic took a look at it and told me that the oil pan would have to be removed. That sucks he was wrong... So a 2jzgte oil pump is a good upgrade for the 1jz?

Sometimes the car does not start without giving it some throttle, it the idle gets to low (600) it will die... and if I put the peddle to the floor and the revs start to climb it will cut out and die, and wont start again...
My CEL does not come on when I experiance this cut out, but my CEL does work. I have code 14. Im thinking the fuel pump ecu or ignitor could be the problem?
The car will not idle unless the idle is set higher (above 700rpm) if it reaches 500rpm, it will die. Could it be the fuel pump?
Im going to try and read fuel pressure at the rail, what is the fuel pressure supposed to be? Is there a way to test the fuel pressure when the fuel pump is in low-flow mode or high-flow mode?
You think so? The car still drives normally though untill I floor it. I think its the fuel pump relay, im not sure where to get a used one in canada other than here.
