Thanks for the info. No one around here seems to flush radiator systems. Everyone just drains and fills. What exactly is a radiator flush anyway? Its when they hook it up to a pressurized tool and try to flush out all the gunk that may be stuck in the rad?

So my heat stopped working the other day and my car overheated. It got about 3/4ths up and I shut the engine off and had it towed to a service shop. They said they replaced the thermostat because it wasn't opening and that they also wanted to check out the radiator and water pump but I said no...

Ok sorry in advanced i'm a n00b. How would I set my timing and check my cap and rotor? Oh i also used NGK iridium IX's if that helps.

50k on the motor, no clue what the timing is set at (not even sure how to find out) I did gap the plugs when i put them in and it is throwing no codes :-D

my car started doing this thing in 4th and 5th gear where it will stutter. like, it feels like the engine dies for a fraction of a second and i stop accelerating. Also at the same time i noticed my idle is a bit rougher, like, i can feel the car rumble a little bit whereas before I couldn't...

Well, it's going out of the overflow bottle. I don't think it's a BHG but you never know. MY engine undercover fell off recently so maybe it's causing it to overheat? OR maybe my thermostat is bad? Sometimes the temp drops to 0 for a second or 2

Thanks man! Maybe next time you'll be cruisin in yours? I just have to figure out my damn coolant issue. I really don't think it's a BHG i had it tested a few months ago, the coolant isn't milky, i'm not overheating, there's no white smoke. I gotta go do a sniffer test i guess or w/e someone...

I had it flushed by the dealership so I assume they did it right? I guess I'll have it tested next oil change i rarely drive my car since my motorcycle gets 50mpg
