No, those vacuum reading are when the engine is revving by itself in neutral. We didn't calibrate the tps. It's done this same thing with 2 different tps sensors on it. We didn't remove just the sensor. His intake manifold had a stripped hole, so we swapped on one of my spare upper manifolds...

Hoses to the pcv and accordion hose are good, haven't been able to find any cracks or splits in any vacuum lines or couplers or anything. Car is okay under load. What's the smartass thing about the tps? Care to specify?

Also, as it revs up vacuum goes to - 20, as it revs down it goes to - 10. When you're on the gas it drives fine. It just at no/very low throttle, it keeps surging

Pinching the iacv hose didn't do anything. The biggest change is when we disconnect the tps sensor, the idles climbs until we plug it back in or shut the car off. Any ideas? Have swapped manifolds once already it's, had this same problem with 2 different tps sensors and 2 different iacv

just wondering what custom valve cover setups you guys might have. was thinking about grinding off the fins and painting them, also wondering about replacing the hose fittings with AN fittings.

I'm planning to go ffim soon, and was looking at intercoolers. I'd like to stay away from the eBay stuff. I currently have a spearco, can I just cut off the top tank and rotate it to face the other direction? The way I see it this will keep me with a quality intercooler, and I can use my piping...

I have fortune auto 500 coilovers on mine. Extremely happy. Also they are built to order so you can get custom spring rates no charge, and they have some other options. I ordered mine from thmotorsports. I'm sure they can help you out with more info.

I forgot, my 88 had them factory and they are held on by what looks like double sided tape. My 87 parts car had metal ones held on by small screws.

Exactly what I was I going to say. I'd love a sethron manifold, but it's just not in the budget. A manifold that could be used with the stock Ecu, throttle body and cable, or included a cable, I would order in a heartbeat.

I have a handful of spare injectors laying around. I upgraded to 550s. If you need one to replace your stuck one when you figure out which it is just let me know. I've got lex/550s, billet 57 trim and supporting mods at 18 lbs. Toyota headgasket with arp studs and original all stock bottom end...

As far as I know right now mine is the only one running. Lol. There's a couple white ones, a couple of the bright red ones, and another one my color. But I think they are all down for some reason or other. Mines my daily so it's never down for more than a night or two when I'm working on it.

So is the car in the Fayetteville area or in Branson? I was talking to some other local owners awhile back about trying to cruise or something. We will probably wait til it warms up a bit.
