I'm planning to go ffim soon, and was looking at intercoolers. I'd like to stay away from the eBay stuff. I currently have a spearco, can I just cut off the top tank and rotate it to face the other direction? The way I see it this will keep me with a quality intercooler, and I can use my piping I already have from the turbo to intercooler.

Looks like you'd have to relocate your oil coolers though.
Get one and have a damn good welder cut and fit the new end tank.
