Check this video out, notice you can hear the IACV change over at 4,000rpm, but it doesn't sing out properly to the rev limit... It should countinue to speed up as the engine rpm rises, burning ever hotter in the combustion chamber. Hotter burn means more horsepower. Try some 110 Royal Racing...
To be perfectly honest it's been years since I had my Supra & I miss it dearly but you need money to keep any car going & I was always broke.
However. To be perfectly honest. You don't want a pipe. I was actually thinking over the volumetric efficiency of the 7m-ge, its a great engine but I...
Actually after learning a hell of a lot about engines I switched to an H22, but want another supra. Engine power has to do with lift, duration, timing the mechanical parts by a degree wheel. To time perfectly at what degree does the valve begin to open at the precise moment the piston just...
I just remember that when i felt this dead spot, my camshaft timing was off. After adjusting them back to 0, the high rpm pull was much much better.
The reason why i believe it would make sense for the secondaries to open later, is to more efficiently use the torque. For example on the...
I just thought tuning the activation would improve wot and pull at higher rpm. The engine produces it's torque at 4,800rpm. The acis would activate at 4,000rpm and there would be a little dead spot between the activation point the engine peak torque rpm. I felt like having it activate a...
Yeah. Another thing that helps is to make 100% sure ur caming timing is dead on 0. Made a huge difference in high rpm for me. Well I didn't time the engine correctly and it wasn't running like it's was supposed to. I had it put in time and it pulled alot harder at high rpm. It used to die...
Some help and advice would be highly appreciated. I know details of the codes it's throwing would be appreciated. The hard pipes are really tight and secure. They are really tightened down and not leaking from the tb to the the intercooler/ turbo. Earlier today it wouldn't start and i don't...
What ever the red hose is connected to is what i'm refering to. Anyway it's like a single hose connected to both of those nipples to a valve that has a bolt with a spring and ball inside. I can adjust it in for more, out for less. Its very inaccurate. We've been driving it for a day or two...
Yes. I like to do one thing at a time and get them fixed in an organized mannor. Anyway I just thought i'de get all the answers i need before i go out there and start working on it. Thanks though! I really appreciate it.
what would u suggest about the code 34? I think i'll just connect a hose from the turbo actuator to the wastgate and clamp them to make sure it's stock and not boosting too high. Too high would be 13psi + correct? I heard 10-11psi is ok?
The weird thing is, is it isn't the throttle has a 1/12th inch of play before it begins to move the butterfly. I may take off the throttlebody and tune the tps to spec. Or just test it first. How can i make the tps connection better? It seems to have a slight loosness in the connector.
