I have recentley swaped a 1jz into my 89 from a 7mge. My tach dosent work and I seen the driftmotion sells a MSD tach adapter. I was wondering if there was a way I could get the tach to work without the tach adapter?

Ya I thought it was for the igniter but its not hopefully we can figure it out tonight and get it running.

Ya I know about the 2 under the dash we got that but are having trouble with this one. How did you do it and where did you find the info/pinouts to do it?

I have one half still in my front clip connected to the fuse box,and the other in my car connected to the engine harness. Does it have to be plugged in? and if so what do I splice it in to?
