Hey guys, ik that the GE comes with top feed injectors, but i have a GE and it has side feed injectors and its the factory rail, and intake manifold. im kind of confused as to what i have here. anybody have any ideas? could it be a jdm engine?
yeah i dont want "OEM" grade, i want above that, im looking to push about 500whp when this engine is done, iv herd clevite doesnt make the M bearing anymore so they just re-box others such as NDC or some other brand which i dont like because i want to know exactly what im running in my engine...
Iv been looking on the fourm as to what rod bearings to run, and so far iv seen NDC is the best of the best, there is just one problem, in their catalog it doesnt show a part number for the rod bearings, only mains thursts and wrist pin bushings, does anybody know where i can find the rod bearings?
the spark plugs were brans new, no miles on them so no it wasnt seeing how the CPS, Coils, and Igniter were all used so no they arent, as for the codes i replaced everything that it said was wrong and set my tps, but it all doesnt matter now, i snapped a rod on my way to work tuesday morning
correction, i wouldnt say they arent firing, but more like a very weak spark, if i pull the wire slightly out from the coil to where the spark will jump, the engine runs slightly rougher and when i pull it farther where the spark wont jump #3 and #5 dont change much compared to if i were to pull...
the other night my brother and i decited to pull the plugs and we found that #1 was broken and #6 wasnt even firing, i replaced #1 and checked the ignition coil for #6 to see if it was firing, it was. so i replaced the plug wire which seemed to make it fire but after i replaced all of the plugs...
FYI this post was my last resort, im no noob when it comes to this kind of stuff, iv gone over the entire engine, tested for vac leaks, checked timing with 2 different guns, different ignitors and coils nothing has worked, so if you feel like insulting this thread please keep it to yourself
nvm got it, that didnt work ether, the engine sounds ok when idling but it shakes alot and when you hit the gas it viberates to the point where you can feel it in the gas pedal and it sounds like it isnt firing right or something, could it be the cps?
