Thanks bro... Glad to see guys going my route! That way I will always know I took the right 'path'...
Money is the main issue on such built projects like a single 2jz. Good luck with yours!

I just got a very good condition.. Euro Spec 3.72 LSD differential. I am waiting the 3.91 ring & pinion to swap in.
I will clean it up and get off the oxidation of the main housing ,and paint it black/silver...

I will take my rear Euro spec diff which is 3.72 LSD and in quite good condition also and store it.Don't want to mess with it.
Just want to try the shorter rear gearing. And no it wont decrease my top speed (or each gear top speed),cause I will log into
my AEM and raise my rev limiter from 7200 rpm to 8000 rpms. It's a win/win situation lol.

If you decide you want an even shorter gear ratio, I found a 4.30 that im trying to offload. :)

The 3.91 rear gearing is the shortest I would go...
I will keep the 3.72 LSD Diff that came stock with my car.Maybe one day I'll put it back on...
The 3.91 gear is something I would like to try and test on my car since I can take the rev limit higher
cause of the 2jz motor/slightly built head/AEM combination.

I think that, the :
# 3.72 rear diff (longest factory gear)
# R154 manual trans (quite long gear trans)
# big wheels (more tire circumferance)
# and last a big single turbo
makes the car a little lazy on acceleration, and to pull harder on taller gears like 4th or 5th you need at least 450-500 whp.

Also the 3.7 and the 3.9 rear gear came from factory on the turbo mk3s. The 4.1 and 4.3 were only on N/A mk3s.
I would choose the N/A rear gears only for drifting.... My car would spin 3rd & 4th gear with a 4.1 or 4.3 rear gearing.

Took apart the diff and cleaned every single part.
Just got the iron housing....looks like new after the sandblasting.
Ordered new oil seals from the dealer.
And last I will paint both the iron housing and the rear aluminum plate!

Is there anything inside to show how the Cooler functions?

Well, it hasn't got a vane pump or valve... The alu tower goes inside the housing with a different
stracture than the outside cooler. It is located near the pinion on the inside, and I think that the LSD oil is hitting
the inside alu 'bar' which cools the fluid. Also there is an 'air scoop' under the car (euro spec mk3 only)
that directs the cold air flow towards the outside cooler....

Fantastic, gorgeous mk3...not a fan of the vortex generators, but the rest of the body/motor/interior more than makes up for it. The 2JZ looks like it belongs there, and everything seems to take the factory GT concept to new heights.
