Heavy MK3 FTW. I am happy to see a MK3 doing some good track events and winning

Heavy ... only when stock. The drift car is more than likely under 3000lbs ,and the RAS supra from the pic above (recently sold at an aucition for $45 000) is under 2400lbs! ;)

25 Years later , Apostolis crazy drift supra – find the 10 differences:)

Conclusion: Apostolis's cage is not made of recycled Greek's beach umbrella poles ,but also designed for a RHD car:) - just pay attention to the rear diagonal cross brace...

1. Roll cage (since you gave out a freebie).
2. Open Front Bumper and Lip
3. Turn signals (Euro vs USDM)
4. Middle grill between turn signal (not there)
5. Side indicator lights (early vs late model)
6. Headlights (headlight cover too?)
7. Headlight washers (not there)
8. Hood with multiple vents
9. Windshield wipers (not there)
10. Door mirrors (not there vs there)
11. Rear wing
12. Camber is different
13. Tire size is different?

BONUS: Still photo vs in action photo (one is functional, first one is modeling?)

Not that I don't believe you (or that it is possible), but I'd have to see that with my own eyes to genuinely believe it 100%. That would be amazing, a >2400 lbs Mk3.

Unfortunately the RAS car was sold to a private collector in UK and he probably won't be too cooperative in showing you the car:) ,but you are in luck - one of the Bemani cars if for sale for a very low price of $50 000 EU ... you can always see it ,just take a plain to Switzerland ;)

Haha, I'll pass on that plane to Switzerland. The money spent on that could go a long ways toward making my car a better car for me.

Besides, I don't know that I'd really want a full on race car (even if I had the means), they don't make very good road cars in most cases, and considering I do all my driving on the road, well... you see where I'm going with this. Still, impressive to even think of a Mk3 that light. Would be a hoot to drive, that's for sure.
