It's a V-Mount and it allows the air to hit both the radiator and IC equally

Hey guys so I drift a MK3 up here in Northern Califirnia for the last 2 years im trying to go pro with this car and show those haters its possible to not have a nissan and be a good drifter even if its challeging at first ..

Im working on some custom parts to make this wheel angel degree in the pictues from the Greek MK3 even possible .

For those that are interested in even starting to get angle on a supra

1# Get a good set of wheels with 0 offset : I recommend Rota D2 : mine are et25 but i run 25mm hub spacers so i get et0

2# Dont run anything bigger than a 8.5 inch rim: ..Why? because it will hit your lower control arm .. Yes it has happened to a lot of people. It doesnt look pretty.

3# Role your Fenders: If you dont know how ..watch a few youtube videos and you'll get the idea

4# Get a alignment : - 3 degree of camber and as much caster you can get. if you have problem with that Driftmotion Offers upper adjustable arms that will help you get that 3 degrees of camber and more !

5# Rack spacers : dont get a fat spacer and just put it on .. If you do your old rack will start leaking and there is only so much thread !!! .. go with like the ones from Driftmotion there the right size.

6# Where in testing :.. But will be providing a get you knuckles customized by us .Service . This will not be for street use !

Contact me for more information or if you have any questions . Im more than happy to help .

This all sound great ,but how much steering angle are you achieving? Apostolis MA70 Supra is confirmed to have over 65 Degrees...

Here are more picz of his car in action:

I'm glad more has came up about this car! So the apostolis IS using the sc lca?

HIS LACA setup is not clear at this point.

All that I know from a good friend of mine who happened to be the King of Europe Champion for the year that Apostolis won one of the rounds ,he told me that the car is on black subframe with angle of 65 or over. He told me further that Apostolis is very very heavy ,making tons of Smoke from burning the Semi-Click tires with GT35/2JZ combo ,having great angle BUT low Velocity.

I know as a fact that TTE MA70 parts are in circulation in Europe including type 2 and type 3 TRD LCA ,I know also that the Supra is part of a professorial drift team thus it is also possible that the fabricated their own LCA because looking at the pictures his front tires appear to be wider than 255. It is unfornatate that Apostolis does not have a single post on facebook in English and does not respond to PMs to tell us more.

Shot of the engine bay on the Frenzy's MKIII supra ,taken a few days ago (Note the dual wasteGate pipes ,ventilating true 2 holes in the hood ,also 50% cut inner front fenders to avoid clearance issue when car is super low)

Optical illusion, or has the engine been stuck under the firewall just a bit?

It is optical - he using the 2jz brackets thus engine is quite close to the firewall (at least a lot closer than mine with the JZA70 1JZ brackets).

Hee this image from on his pre V-mount setup:

Lol ,this is a "high risk" drifting ,the street "median" is actually made of Ligh plastics!

His cage also appears to be super weak ,probably made out of recycled beach umbrella poles ,taken from the deserted Greek beaches :))))

Aug of 1987 ,Supra MA70 international Gr.A debut (a few days before the factory team in Japan!)

25 Years later , Apostolis crazy drift supra – find the 10 differences:)

DRIFT%20MK3.jpg

Conclusion: Apostolis's cage is not made of recycled Greek's beach umbrella poles ,but also designed for a RHD car:) - just pay attention to the rear diagonal cross brace...

LD, I'm guessing the cage design is meant to triangulate above the driver, to prevent the roof from collapsing much in a roll over? My cage is a Cusco, and it's cross bar is like the one in the second picture there.

That is correct ,and your cage is not Roll-Over safe for LHD car. Very few cars were implemented with one diagonal cross bar (mostly hill climb ,and R.A.S. car from the picture above) ,this cage design was IIRC TypeC from the FIA/JAS papers for MA70 but depending on the RHD or LHD the bars were going in different direction - always towards drivers head. I will post more pics from the TRD cars with TypeC and Bemani's. You can also see it done right on my car.
