Its been a long road for the past year since i bought the car. It came to me as a stripped/parted out car, and mostly everything for the car came in a box. We managed to get the car on my car trailor and to my house, where its sat for the past year while i worked on it. Here is the progress as of today:

Today, it finally sat back down on its own wheels and suspension:

Cage is finally finished up and completly welded:

Header is almost completly done, just have to route the dual wastegates:

Im pleased with how everything has turned out so far. There is still a ton of work to do, but at least its coming closer to being finished!

Enjoy

Whats the expectied RPM at which boost will hit?

Im not exactly sure to tell you the truth. In first gear (th400 tranny) im expecting it to be about 5500-6000rpm without nitrous. I am also in the middle of setting up a direct port n2o setup. I'll be using it just for spool, so hopefully ill be able to bring it down to around 4500rpm with the nitrous? Just an un-educated guess though.

WOW!! When I saw that engine bay my mouth dropped to the floor, and I suspect the "Oh my God" comment was heard by a majority of my co-workers, hehehe.

Killer set up, is that a real 2JZ-GE? or a GTE incognito? Anyway, nicely done!

Its a real GE, though once i put the TT valve covers on, it wont look much like a GE. Ya i get the "huge turbo" comment alot. In person the turbo almost looks like a stage prop. Doesnt look natural to be that big lol.

I'm very glad to know that my old car didn't end up in a junkyard; it was too nice of a chassis for that to happen to it. I hope it eventually finds itself back on the road again one day!

You will need a big shot to get that out of the hole, that's for sure. IIRC, Brent, a friend of mine is using around a 200, not sure the exact specs though, It will also depend on the converter you use and how tight it is. He runs same turbo and trans as well. I assume you are using this for track?

Nice to see Hams old car get some action.
