im curious on the difference of weight and even power that the BEP 9cm. housing can do? i like the 9cm. housing on the holsets i like the instant response they do id like to see 500whp+ on a little hy35 :)

What's the difference between the BEP 9cm HY35 housing and the 9cm housing that comes on the HY35 already? I've never seen a BEP T3 flanged Holset housing at all, they don't list them on their site either. http://www.bullseyepower.com/u_turbine_housings.asp

I just bought an HY35 to replace my HX35 (divided 12cm) because I wanted earlier spool. Not sure what the difference will be. I'm datalogging before and after (boost, rpm, afr, IAT) so I guess we'll see.

I like the HX35... when it's spooled. It's got too much lag for my tastes. I'm used to small turbos. If the HY35 doesn't do it for me, I'm going to swap to a T3/T4 that will.

You have to call them to ask what they have and what you might need.

The housing will not work on a HY only an HX. This is what the BEP housing looks like on a 1jz w/ XS power t3 manifold:

Has anyone anserwed the oil restrictor question yet? i had my hx35 on my dsm with a 0.60 orifice just becuause of the high oil pressure of the 4g63. but i see the 7m has fairly low oil pressure. so i would really like to know if i should use it or not?

I made my own restrictor and i melted down my hx after a hard working supra meet weekend. i had about a 1/8" hole. since than I talked to many Nissan, Ford, guys that say if you have the right size oil drain u should never have to restrict the oil flow to an hx.

my 7m has a shimmed oil pump ~5mm shim and full flow oil cooling system. I have a -10AN return, what size turbo feed should I run and what size oil restrictor? It's a HX40 btw
