Carlos Dengler And Nick Oliveri Are my favorite and inspiration to playing the bass. At least the electric bass, I could list off lots of double bass players but I don't feel the need.

Carlos Dengler plays for Interpol and plays some of the most catchy bass riffs ever, The band almost plays around him, Its impressive.

And Nick Oliveri, hes just a badass.

the hardest part about buckethead's technique is keeping pace with that kill switch. Custom made les paul with that kill switch, the pickups moved forward, and the volume control closer to the string.
