A lot of times there is just some guys who have a natural talent. I saw an interview of some guy who held a bunch of time trial records on forza 2 one time, and he went on about how he didnt really know why he was so good, and how he wished they would take car tuning out of the game because he had no idea how to do any of it and he couldnt win at all when he raced in non-stock cars.

Makes sense, it's like the people who could beat those old NES games back in the day...

I need to start using the wheel, jumped right in with the controller and it's just not the same.

I still play it on occasion. G27/Playseat setup + bottle of Kraken and friends = good time had by all haha...

Not on PSN at the moment though due to a lack of internet.

As for the Supras, I have both the 7m and 1j. 7m is stock at the moment, 1j is setup pretty much just like my real car. :)

The 1J is slow. I had a 1J MK3 and a Soarer, both modded out. They're both slow. 7M MK3 full mods is around 560hp. Slow. I haven't played in a while, but I'm using some 8.0L S/C'd American special something or another and it absolutely RAPES the competition hahaha

Have they updated the car list to include something other than 100 skylines? If not, i still won't waste my money on it.

Lol, so are you saying that if the game has 1000+ you wont touch it simply because they include a bunch of skylines and civics? No matter how you cut it the game has over a thousand cars and that is impressive. Not to mention the driving physics with a good wheel are second to none.

I am still moving, but I can't wait to get my G27 set up again and tear it up. The game isnt even worth playing with a controller after you've played with the wheel(a good one).

I didn't realize simulation racing with impeccable racing physics was actually about representing a specific continent's automotive history. :p

I gotta give you a hard time about this, kai. No hard feelings. I bet if you had the chance to sit behind a good wheel and race 20 laps on nurburgring with 5 of your other mates in gt5 you'd completely forget what country your in game car is from. :)

Gosh i havent played GT5 in a while..... It's hard getting into the cars in the previous version. We always have to look at the used car list to update till we come across the specific car instead of saving up a heap and not to worry about the limited time you have before the list updates :(.
