BTW, the exhaust will be flush with the fender.....just got tired of working on it tonight.....itll look good i promise....

AHAHA! That side exhaust is pretty extreme... won't flames/backfires eat your pass. side paint though?

Grant, i will probably be spinning her to 8400 or so. My bottom end consists of Pauter rods and Ross pistons. Only one way to find out how she holds up! :)

For extended running, that plate might not be enough, but for a few passes that are 10 seconds or less, it should be fine. (Paint is pretty durable too, you might have some soot, but I doubt it would just burn/melt off unless your going for the flame thrower award at the track. (Backfires, and a few belches of flame should do nothing.)

If your worried, paint the car/fender in high temp paint.
